I have been missing you and wishing you were here.Daryl is so tall now and he is trying his hand at music. He plays an electric bass and he is good.He learns fast and school seems to be easier this year. You would be so proud, he is all so designing and building a bridge in his engineering class. Wonder where his love of building and taking apart came from. He all so loves fishing but can't bring himself to eat them when he catches them, so he lets them go.I remember when you use to take us fishing.I loved it except when we had to bait the hook.My birthday is this Friday. I remember my 21st birthday and how you took me out and brought my first(legal) drink. I love you and miss you.

Hi DAD miss you. You would be proud of me so far in the last month I have repaired the stove,my car, and a leaky toilet.You are mentioned often in our conversations. I still say Hi and Good night when I pass the cemetery. I am not ready to go in and see you yet. We are taking care of Mom and have found lots of stuff we did not know you had in the magic garage. The last car is leaving Saturday morning 3/3. It got sold to a collector. Mrs Butler ought to be glad. She now complains because she can not tell if Mom is home since she is parking in the garage. I have one of your roses at my house and it is budding, so I did not kill it off yet. Maybe it will be the first flowering plant that I won't kill. I wish you were here to talk to Grace college has been hard for her, but she is not giving up. I love you Marian

Hey Dad, been thinking about your a lot lately both because it's been almost a year, & we keep getting notifications from UCI for Briana's graduation in June. You would be proud of her. She's involved with a lot of productions, she has a 4.0 GPA, so will graduate with honors (Major: Theatre Arts/Minor: Film & Media Studies). I wish you could be here for the ceremony in June. Briana's talking about taking a year off to work/intern & then go back for her grad degree. Sean is also an honor student at UCSD (Structural Engineering major) but has a few more years till he can graduate with both his B.S. and M.S.; some day I will get my degree. Thanks for all the help over the years, and teaching me all kinds of things I thought I would never use and now have (roofing, brick laying, pouring cement, etc.). Love you & miss you.

I Can't believe its is almost been a year, next week. Time has flown by and I wasn't even ready for it. It seems like yesterday we were talking together, or even out in the garage doing things. I miss you more then I can put into words, and I still love you too. I know that you are still with us especially when things happen and we know it had of been you letting us know you are still there. I gives me strengh to keep going. I have been keeping my promise to you in helping Mom as much as I can. Also when things do go wrong, especailly with a vehicle I try to think what would dad do. Thank you for teaching me what you did. Love Dad.

It's funny what makes me think of you. My sisters finally found the duck butts you told me you had for me that were buried somewhere in the garage. Shane, Sean, Briana and I will be up at Christmas to spend some time with Mom. Christmas breakfast won't be the same without you and I cooking it together. We all miss you.

It has been longer then six months since you rested. Everyday I drive by the cemetery and say hi as I pass and good night if it is night time. I know you are listening. Went to Disneyland and thought of you every time there was a steamboat willie picture or item. I think of you when I need to be strong and not give up. I miss you Marian

I miss you and I love you even when you left me behind at a gas station one of our many trips across country.

I will miss the stories, holding hands and your voice. I am glad I spent so much time at the house with you and Mom the last 4 weeks. I hope you are welding in heaven. The ducks will miss you.

I have many fond memories of Willie from the times we were at gatherings with the Rose family. He was a very kind person...always made you feel at home around him. I will miss him. Pam Gray

Dad, thank you for teaching your daughters all those things we thought we wouldn't use (e.g. roofing a house, laying brick, pitching a softball, fixing cars, etc.). We love you and we will miss you. Thanks for always being there.

Bill, what can I say except..........I love you DAD. I was the sixth daughter to dad. He called me his, "Little BRAT". I wonder why?...lol I grew up living up the street from the Avilla's. I lived more at their house than I did at my own. Dad let me get away with more than the other girls....hee hee hee. Oh maybe that was because he couldn't get a handle on me....haa haa Nah........that couldn't be....dad put me into check all the time. He even grounded me along with the other girls...lol Oh, maybe that is why I was called the, "little BRAT". Sometimes he did call me the, "Big BRAT". At least I knew he loved me. I loved being dad's "BRAT" I loved watching dad work on cars. I loved watching dad build, fix, and even tear things apart. I learned a lot from dad in my life. I can say this......He always knew when I was in town for a visit.....lolololol He would try to shut and lock the door to keep me out.....(laughing).....but, then lovingly he would open the door and greet me with a huge smile and say, "Hi Brat, it's a good thing you came by". Dad would hear me walking up the walkway because......I think everyone knew when Becky Cook was around....haa haa Dad, I love you dearly and I will miss you greatly. Willie was a true gentleman and a pleasure to be around. He always had a kind word, in fact never just one, and a "can do" attitude. He enjoyed solving problems of any type. He will be missed. Bob Stark
