BAGGETT, Jr., William R.(Bob) age 93, passedaway in a local hospitalon Thursday, April 21, 2011,after a courageous battlewith an extended illness.Graveside services will beheld on Tuesday, April 26,2011 at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, with Pastor Tommy Roy of PoseyÆsCrossroad Baptist Churchofficiating. Visitation will beheld one hour prior at LeakMemory Chapel. Mr. Baggett was preceded indeath by his parents MaryMadeline Whiddon Baggett and William R. Baggett, Sr. and his sister WillieMadeline Baggett. He issurvived by his wife of 65years, Dorothy MeekerBaggett, daughters, LindaBaggett Gafford (John)and Bobbye Baggett (David), grandson Bryan Gafford, and loving pet Abbye. Mr. Baggett served inthe U. S. Navy during WorldWar II in the South PacificTheater. He retired from theU. S.
