William Asbury Beck

Bill, Dan, and Heidi, I am sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved father. While the sorrow of his passing from this life must be difficult, I hope you can rejoice in the legacy he left and the many lives he touched in a positive way while he was with us on this earth.

I first met Bill in the early 1970s when we were working on the same project at Boeing. Then, in the late 70s, Bill (assisted by sons Bill Jr. and Dan, delivered a couple of cords of firewood to us in Newport Hills. We lost touch until 2001 when I re-married and moved to Maple Valley. We enjoyed many cups of coffee and told a lot of stories since that time.

So glad that it worked out to see him and Heidi along with mom and give him what turned out to be a goodbye hug. Especially after his 65 year friendship with mom and knowing me all of my life. I know that dad loved going up in the mountains for hikes with him after he had retired.
