William Harrison Bell Jr., affectionately known as Billy, passed away on August 22, 2024 at home in Old Hickory, Tennessee. Billy was born in Cicero, Illinois to William and Mary Bell.

Billy dedicated 16 years of his life to Wal-Mart Automotive and Tire, where his commitment and hard work were well respected by colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of his professional life, Billy was passionate about music and could often be heard before he was seen, his car stereo blasting his favorite tunes. His love for music also translated into a deep appreciation for concerts, where he relished the live music experience.

He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren.

Billy is survived by his loving sister, Kathy Bell-Bennett and her husband Mark; his daughters, Sheena Harvey and her husband Jackie, Heather Craig and her husband Daniel, Victoria Bell, Jennifer Callison, Deanna Morrison and her husband Miles, Lindsey Bell and her husband Joseph, and Bethany Vaughn and her husband Nathan. His life was a blessing to many other family members and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Bell Sr. and Mary F. Bell, and his sister, Darlene M. Wright.

Billy was a metal head until the end.

My brother had just talked my parents into getting him a go-cart. He got to ride it a total of 10 maybe 20 minutes when mom made him let me ride in the back yard. And of course me being 10 or 11, I had never been in control of a gas powered item. I was so happy and Billy was so he couldn't wait until I was done. He didn't have to wait long. As soon as I got on the go-cart I floored it straight to the end of the backyard, into a center block fence. I never got to ride it again. I can't remember whatever happened to that go-cart. I am sure he rode it to its death. I love you Billy and I will always remember all of the crazy memories we put each other through. Like me stealing your keys off of the bathroom sink to your car while you was in the shower. And when you got wiser (well you thought wiser) and started putting them on the bathtub with you, I just had to be extra quite when I got them from the bathtub. The look on your face when you realized you wasn't going anywhere until I came home had to be the best! I am missing you brother. Dad, Mom, Darlene, and now you can all watch over me and my crew. I love you guys.
