My special thought was the love and dedication he showed to my younger son Daniel who always went to Baird's and Jeff's games that Bill coached. In basketball games when he would kneel to talk with the boys he would have Daniel on his knee. Daniel always called him Mr. Bill.

Uncle Bill was always the fun uncle. Growing up I was always so excited to see him because he was so excited to see me. As a young boy I got to punch him in the stomach when reunited and was always so amazed at how it did nothing to him but I would always hurt my fist. I always thought he was super strong especially after watching him play handball. Later in life after I had recently moved out from my parents house he made a surprise visit at the burger joint I was working at. I remember being so surprised and happy he stopped in. We ate together and he gave me some good life advice. Thank you Uncle Bill for your love. You are loved and will be missed. To Marliam, Meris and Baird, we grieve with you and your family in Hawaii are here at anytime.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Nye's passing. He was a friend of my late husband Skippy.
