We have had the privilege of being Mr Bill's neighbors for the last 8.5 years. He has been such a kind, loving man to my husband, myself and our babies. This loss has been incredibly hard on us. If my youngest son(now 5) saw Bill outside he would take off running just to give him the biggest hug he could, and if Mr Bill saw him coming he would just open his arms up so big for Liam to run into, My favorite memory We love you Mr Bill thank you for all of the love you have shared with us. Sending so much love to his family and friends

I have known Bill since our childhood days in Lincoln Park. Close to 80 years. He was a good friend for all those years . I knew Bill and his brother Jerry ( Fats) all of our years through school. After Bills wife died he lived a lonely life. He has no children. He had a passion for classic cars and still had probably 16 stored in Powell. He outlived all his family and will be missed by his many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with my friend Bill. God bless you.

Great memories of a truly good man- my Cousin Jr. We shared stories about our parents, relived our fun as kids, and shared our mutual love for the Tennessee Vols. Buddy, I will miss you until we meet again. Remember the Byrd family hymn - I´ll Fly Away. See you later ! Love, Cousin Linda
