Bill was my budget miracle printer for 35+ years when I worked for the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. He was always professional, but very very funny, and best of all he produced those budgets for me regardless of how late I got them to him before needing to pass them out to our board. Bill, you were a blessing to me. RIP.

Sorry for the big loss and my prayers to Bill´s family. I used to have a toy store across their printing business and I always had fun and enjoying the company of Bill and his brother Jim every time I go there for banners, posters, invitations they´re very accommodating. Bill was a very professional person and he will always smile at you. I´m sure the Shawnee community will miss Bill and to you my friend Bill "Rest In Peace".

Deepest sympathy to the family of Bill. We are very sad for your loss. The Philippine Nurses Association of Greater Kansas City and the Philippine Medical Society of Greater Kansas City had the privilege of working with Bill for our souvenir programs and golf flyers and many more. He was always very helpful and nice to work with. Thank you for all the great things he had done. Praying that you all find comfort with the memories you have. May he rest in eternal peace! God bless you all.

Bill is a special soul. If you were lucky enough to spend time with Bill Shippee, you were truly lucky enough. He made you feel special . What ever you wanted to talk about was just what he wanted to hear. A few years ago he went with Dale to feed and count cows. He noticed we didn't have a sign to advertise the herd bulls for sell and he also noticed a huge rock in the field. He told Dale he wanted that rock for his yard. Dale told him he could have it but getting it home would require a big truck. Bill said he would get the rock home if Dale would let him make a big sign to put on the highway in exchange for the rock. The deal was made. A few weeks later UPS delivered a BIG beautiful sign with a big beautiful Hertford bull. Dale asked when he wanted his rock and he laughed and said he would get it someday, but until then it was his rock and he would always know where it was. Bill was one of a kind and we loved him...

For as far back as my memories go, Bill was present. In 1997 when my own father passed away and I was enroute to meet family after his passing, I found myself on the turnpike sobbing, lost and with no money to pay at the turnstile. I called my sister because I was so distraught, and Bill offered to drive many miles to retrieve me, lost and sobbing from the highway. That is who Bill was; The guy who did great things for other people, because he was a wonderful person. He is dearly missed by all of us.
