Patsy, I was going back through old emails and found the one on Bill's death.
I was such a sad time for all and of all times, I had Pneumonia and barely escaped the hospital, it was so bad. Despite being so sick, I drug myself to the funeral home but could not hang. I think of all of you often and the fond memories, being treated like a SON. Life is getting really hard the older we get and the more friends we lose. I will never forget all you and Bill did to make me feel like part of the family. Most people don't have one good set of parents, I sort of had 2 and thank you from the bottom of my heart. One day I hope to stop by. life is so rushed and full of anguish. Hope through it all you are ok. Love your both, Son

We were sad to hear that Bill had passed. His smile will linger long in our hearts along with the fond memories of fun times in Arcadia, FL. Prayers are with you and your family during this time. God be with you.

My dear Patsy, I am so sorry to read on facebook about Bill's death. Our time as friends over the years was brief when we were together, but always a blessed time. He and Joe can now be together.

It was truly a pleasure caring for your husband during his last days, Patsy. I have been thinking of you and your family. I send my sincerest condolences. Prayers for peace, strength, and comfort for all of those who loved your sweet husband.

Bill will be sorely missed by many, but none more than Patsy, Missy and Abigail. May the Lord hold you in his warm embrace while you find your footing and make your way in a world without your beloved Bill.

There are no words that can ease the heartache of Bill's wife, family and friends. Bill was such a special person and will be missed terribly. Our thoughts and prayers for all who loved him.

Not too many in life get to have one great Dad, I had mine by birth and Bill by a kind of adoption of sorts that only we probably understand. When he called me son, I really think he meant it, and I felt it too. What a great man, Dad, Husband and friend to many. It broke my heart when I heard. I am so sorry for your loss, Patsy. No matter how bad Bill felt, he always managed a hug and a smile and gave glory to God. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, as well as Dad (Fred) and John's. We feel blessed to have known Bill!

My heart goes out to the entire extended Black family. Bill was such a kind, sweet, and loving man. I hope that you can all find peace during this time of grief, and know that he must be elated to be reunited with sweet Chelle. You will all remain in my thoughts and prayers.
