William W. Bohne. Age 90. WW II Marine Corps Veteran. Passed away peacefully on May 30th. Beloved Husband of 65 yrs to Rose (nee Finn). Loving father of Joseph (Anne), Rosemary (Jack) Gjeldum and Richard. Cherished grandfather of Dan (Katie) Gjeldum, Erika (Steve) Larson, Kevin and Clare. Devoted great grandfather of Jack, Charlie, Beckett, Leila, Gabby and Gus. Dear son of the late William and Helen (nee Palowsky) Bohne. Visitation Thursday 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Friday 10:00 AM from Lawn Funeral Home 7909 State Road (5500 W) Burbank, IL 60459 to St. Albert the Great Church. Mass 10:30 AM. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Member of Teamsters Local 710, a crossing guard for the City of Burbank for 24 yrs., Gold Circle member of VFW Post #5220 and member of American Legion Post #854. Aunt Rose and family,
This is Kim, Cathy and Norma Finn. We want you all to know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. When I heard Uncle Bill passed the image of his contagious smile crossed my mind. We only got a small part of his life during your Lima trips or our road trips to Ctown, which was great memories for me. But through those small moments I learned humor, other family members would be in there own conversations Bill always took time to make me laugh. Thinking back he liked everyone to be laughing.. I know I am rambling and I am sorry for that...I'm just so sad for our loss but happy that he made a difference I know in my life and many others....love the Lima Finn's
