William Boyd Obituary
BOYD _ William Dennis (Denny) Passed away October 27, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Denny was a respected author and journalist for 30 years with the Vancouver Sun. Denny wanted to be remembered as "A Good Read". Survived by his daughters Linda, Laura, Lisa (Kevin), Nancy, son Lenny, six grandchildren Ryan, Shaun, Ashley, Nicholas, Daniel and Alexander. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 3, 2006 at Mt. Seymour United Church, 1200 Parkgate Avenue, North Vancouver, BC. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Ward at LGH and Dr. Wayne Smith for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LGH Foundation.

My sincere condolences to the family.
I am deeply saddended to hear of the passing of my old Mt. View High School buddy, Denny Boyd. I have followed his distinguished writing career right from our high school days and will always miss him.

Was deeply saddened to hear of Denny's passing.
I thoroughly enjoyed all his work I read over the years., and will always remember him right beside other colleagues such as Jack Wasserman, Raife Mair and Allan Fotheringham.
