For some reason I thought of Dr. Brown today and how he helped me get through a difficult time as a young mother in the 70's. When I searched his name I was saddened to find his obituary and wish I had personally thanked him before his passing. A compassionate, wise gentleman. Rest in peace.

I worked with Dr. B - one of the most caring, committed psychiatrists ever. We have lost a very special person.

What a privilege it was to have known Dr. Brown and to be under his wing. I hope he and Rosemary are together again where they belong.

As a new nurse, back in the day I remember the assortment of umbrellas he had...also the cigars he smoked. He lived the life of Riley, so to speak. His wife, Rosemary was my MLA. Will miss "Bill" Brown!(as he was kindly known)

I spent many wonderful times with Bill, or William T as I called him. He was so much fun to work with, and a lovely friend, always a perfect gentleman. When I had an operation on my foot and all the other nurses were at a party, Bill took me to dinner at QE Park. That must have been 30 years ago and we were friends ever since. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you the past 2 years Bill, it was so hectic. Thinking about all our fun times. Now you can be with lovely Rosemary.

Bill was a long-standing friend of both my wife Clemmie and me while he studied for his PhD in biochemistry at McGill. He will be missed by both of us.

Without Dr. Brown the world feels a little emptier and a bit colder. His kindness to my mother and I was profound as he always showed genuine compassion and concern, even when beating my mom at checkers. We will miss him.
