William Burke Obituary
Bill graduated from ST Benedictine High School with Honors, Class of 1977. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force until being honorably discharged in 1979 due to injuries sustained in a helicopter crash. He went on to use his people oriented skills in automotive sales management and later as an Inbound Senior Insurance Advisor before retiring in 2020.
Bill loved golfing with friends and was passionate about politics, volunteering his time watching the polls in the last presidential election. Bill was just shy of earning his 22 year sobriety chip and was very proud of this accomplishment. He was heavily involved in the AA community and loved to help others on their journey of sobriety. Bill was a loving and caring man spending his last few years making his grandchildren his priority. He always made sure they had what they needed and even spoiled them with what they wanted.
Bill was predeceased by his mother Mary H. Burke. He will be survived by his brother, sister, 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the near future.

Nobody I would rather sit around the campfire with or on a lakeshore talking about a whole bunch of nothin´ with than Bill. It won´t be the same telling lies about the size of our fish without you brother! Probably see you sooner than I´d like.

Bill was a wonderful man who was always willing to share his love, his experience, strength and hope to others. He was definitely an asset to his home group and helped many. He loved his family and will be missed.
