BUTTERWORTH, William T. - of Clio, age 76, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1PM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Eric Cloeter officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 and Saturday from 11 AM until time of services. A Masonic Memorial will be held at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home by the Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge # 535 F & AM. Contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis. Bill was born May 27, 1933 in Flint to the late William and Lena (Adamski) Burt and resided in Clio the past 54 years. He served in the US Army from April 1953 to May 1954. He married Marifrances Grenier on February 25, 1956 in Clio. Mr. Butterworth retired from Sears with 35 years seniority. He was a member of Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge #535 F & AM and the Weekenders Camping Club. Surviving are: wife, Marifrances; 3 children, Mark (Rose) Butterworth of Chesaning, Greg (Kim) Butterworth of Clio, Jody (Ken) Cook of Frankenmuth; 4 grandchildren, Mike, Willie, Josh and Kelly; siblings, Carroll (Margaret) Butterworth of Sheridan, Alice Butterworth of Sheridan, DeWayne (Susan) Butterworth of Flint, Ronnie (Candy) Burt of Flint, Kenny (Marie) Burt of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
