Dear Billy, you have a birthday coming upon us soon, this time in Heaven. You are missed greatly. I take good care of your roses and the Cardinals visit often. Yesterday, a big red Cardinal flew up to the porch and stopped right in front of my face, looked at me and flew on his way! Thank you for the visit, I needed that. Miss you terribly. Enjoy those streets of GOLD.

I met Billy through his daughter, my friend, Crystal, four years ago. I attended several of the family/friend cookouts. Although I didn´t know him well, I do know how much he loves his daughters, grandkids, and family. He made me feel like family. I will always admire him for his heart and strength. May he rest in peace; he definitely earned it and deserves it.

Billy was always the straight forward brother-in-law to me. Always called me family. It has been a pleasure and a blessing to know Billy. I will always cherish our friendship. He is fishing the most beautiful lakes now in Heaven. Blessings to all of the friends and family

He took me under his wing and treated me like one of his own. He was always Dad to me. We enjoyed many camping trips at the campground in Cherokee and many family get together at his home on Walhalla. We always had food for an army, we would chat about the good Ole days, listen to music and play corn hole. He was a great man with a huge heart, he never met a stranger. If he loved you he loved you big. I will miss you dad forever your Big Bird

My daddy taught me how to provide and survive, he didn´t sugar coat it. I was never daddy´s little princess because he taught me how to be the "Queen" of my own kingdom. He loved me and my sister very much and had his own non traditional ways of showing it. My daddy was a strong and compassionate man and didn´t know a stranger. I took my daddy on a father daughter trip to the Florida Keys and I will never ever forget it. Parasailing with my father, drinking cocktails poolside with large iguanas and just taking in the sunshine on one of the hammocks will forever be in my memories- oh but we must can´t ever forget, those precious words my daddy spoke to me in support of me becoming a truck driver " When you leave your driveway, make sure you pull back into it safely". My daddy is missed it´s a heartbreak I wish on no one, but I know my daddy isn´t alone and isn´t hurting and is singing praises with the lord almighty counting down the days we all get to be together again. I love you daddy. Save me a seat, it´s only time.

I have many memories of Billy from the eight years his brother Bobby and I were married. Bobby and I kept Billy´s girls on weekends until I left in 1992. Billy loved those girls with his heart and soul. Having lost Misty, Billy reached out when I lost Randy. He took me out to eat and by the funeral home one evening. Just spent quiet time bonding over losing our children that we had each known from childhood. We didn´t talk about them but it helped sharing our grief. Billy was quiet and had a sense of humor. He will be missed.
