William Chatelain Obituary
Bill is survived by his wife, Laura; children: Jeffrey (Katie), Brett (Nicole), Scott (Melissa); 3 grandchildren; mother, Jeannette and sisters Susan, Nancy and Jan (Ken).
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy for two years. Following his service, he dedicated 43 years to driving public transit buses for RTD and the City of Simi, ensuring safe travel in the Los Angeles and Simi Valley communities. He enjoyed supporting the Granada Theatre and was a frequent bartender at their weekend shows and matinees.
Bill enjoyed traveling especially in the National Parks. He was known for planning parties, poker games and trips for both friends and family, always making sure that everyone was happy and comfortable. Those who knew him will remember his big smile, happy laughter and never ending stories .
Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
