Will Fourth (William Sidney Clark, IV)
West Hollywood, CA - William Sidney Clark, IV, known professionally as Will Fourth, passed away on August 26, 2023, in
West Hollywood, California, at the age of 26. He was born on October 25, 1996, in
Voorhees, New Jersey, to William S. III and Stefanie Clark. Will's musical talents were evident from a young age, as he mastered the acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard and piano, and alto saxophone by ear. His parents recognized his potential when they noticed his long fingers, which would become the hallmark of his musical greatness.
In addition to his musical prowess, Will was an exceptional student, consistently achieving straight A's throughout his academic journey. His dedication to education was recognized by Duke University's TIP Program. Will's infectious smile and big belly laughs brightened the lives of all who knew him. He was a friend to everyone he met and always stood up for those in need.
Will's love for all animals was unmatched. He had a special affinity for dogs, especially Huskies, and cats and rescued eight homeless cats throughout his life. His most recent companions, Ruby Tuesday, Ozzy, and Bowie, held a special place in his heart, and were his baby cats.
At the young age of 13, Will embarked on a photojournalism career, starting with his mother's camera and eventually earning a sponsorship with Canon. Through his lens, he captured the magic of countless performances by music legends and his personal favorites. Will's photographs, taken from the pit right against the stage, were nothing short of extraordinary.
Will is survived by his loving wife, Fernanda (Linhares) Clark of
West Hollywood, California. He also leaves behind his parents, William S. III and Stefanie Clark of
Summerfield, Florida; his sister Amanda Rose Clark and brother-in-law Ricky Diaz of
Orlando, Florida; his brother Daniel Gregory-Paul Clark of
Summerfield, Florida; his father-in-law Cesar Linhares Cruz of Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil; his brothers-in-law Rafael Monteiro Linhares Cruz and Vincinus Linhares Sousa; and his sister-in-law Manuella Linhares Sousa, all of Brazil. Will was the beloved grandson of Paul J. (Flo) Conte of
Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a dear nephew of Rhonda A. (Steve) Klee of
Owensboro, Kentucky; Tim A. (Mixi) Clark of
Madison, Alabama; John P. Clark of
Owensboro, Kentucky; Kenneth M. Clark of
Las Vegas, Nevada; Karen M. Tromly of
Owensboro, Kentucky; and Gregory C. Clark of
Owensboro, Kentucky. Will will be deeply missed by his numerous cousins, especially John Clark, Jr. and Brandon Clark, as well as his wide circle of friends - especially Ed and Melayni Gage, extended family, countless fans, bandmates, and colleagues at Netflix, HBO, and Paramount. Will is preceded in death by his paternal grandparent's Wm. Sidney Clark, Jr and Annalee (Thompson) Clark, his maternal grandmother, Mary Patricia Leeds, his mother-in-law Claudia Cruz, his Uncle David Glenn Tromly, Sr., and his Uncle Michael E. Clark.
Throughout his career, Will achieved remarkable feats. He proudly served as the singer, rhythm, lead, and bass on the theme song for MORRISONLAND and made many appearances on several popular shows, including What/If, MOXIE, The Offer, Euphoria, Quantum Leap (2022), Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. His voice was also featured in the background vocals for the 2023 Chargers commercial. Will's talent extended beyond his solo work, as he provided background vocals for the Swedish band Steel Heart and served as the lead singer for the Aerosmith tribute band AeroRocks and the Def Leppard tribute band Hysteria, as well as lead guitar and vocals for the band ChëëTä:. He also excelled at session work for numerous other bands, finding joy in every moment of his acting and musical careers.
Will's Roman Catholic faith was an integral part of his life. Funeral services and Roman Catholic Rites were held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California, on Friday, September 8, 2023. A private family service will be held in
Owensboro, Kentucky, at a later date.
