Bill and Lea were married in Quebec in 1957, and their son William Craig was born in 1959. In 1960 the family moved to Arvida, Quebec, where Bill became Alcan Power System Planning Engineer and Chairman of the System Planning Committee. In 1964 he became System Operations Manager for Alcan's Quebec Power System and representative for the Canada-U.S. Eastern Interconnection committee. In 1978 he became Vice-President of Alcan Aluminum Limited and President of Alcan Basic Raw Materials, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcan comprising 7 companies, including two shipping companies. In 1985 he retired from Alcan and the family moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where he started his own raw materials consulting business. He was active in the community wherever he lived, serving as a Scout leader while in Arvida, and serving on the board of the Pine Valley Condominium Association and as President of Sugar Mill Country Club while in New Smyrna Beach. He enjoyed going on fishing trips and had a lifelong passion for golf.
He was preceded in death by his brother Robert (Bob), and will be greatly missed by his wife, Lea; son, William Craig; niece, Catherine, and her husband Paul; and by his extended family and many friends.
