I was very sad to hear about Bill's passing this morning. I was lucky enough to have met him last year after winning the Optimist Club William J. Cummer Scholarship for 2012. It was a pleasure getting to know him and his family. I'll always be grateful for the kindness he showed me and my husband that night and his generosity.

Denise and the entire Cummer family; Deb and I were so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Even though we were a long ways apart and really didn't get to know him well until the last few years, he was a dear friend and we will miss him terribly. Our condolences to you and your family.

Don, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I'd like to send condolences to you and your brothers and sisters. I have fond memories of selling nuts door to door for charity with your Dad leading us on when we were kids and who could forget deep sea fishing in Bermuda. Your Dad lived a great life.

I learned a life lesson today upon hearing about my dad's first cousin Bill's passing. Never let your work make you miss a loved one's 90th birthdsy celebration. One of the few regrets of my life!
