I was sorry to learn of Brad's death in the recent issue of "Panorama" (publication of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary). I haven't seen Brad since before his graduation from seminary. We were both scheduled to graduate in 1989, but I decided to take a year off and serve as a student pastor in Virginia City, Nevada. I stayed with Brad at Hill Air Force base that summer, as he was there as a student chaplain and I needed a place to crash on my way out West. We had dinner with a chaplain who gave him and a Catholic seminarian the day off (since I had a car) so we could go investigate the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. We had a enjoyable day. May God bless and keep his family.

We remember Brad from Woodland Park Presbyterian Church in seattle where he was an intern. We always enjoyed his company and liked him very much. He will be missed by all here who knew him.

Our deepest sympathy to your family. Brad was always so soft spoken and kind. He was very special to our family as he baptized our daughter, visited with my mother when she was so very sick and was there for our family for my mother-in-law's funeral. He was both our minister and friend. God Bless

For several years, I was a member of the Hewitt Church. Brad and I also served in the life of the Washington Presbytery. He encouraged others to use their God-given gifts for the Lord. I want to express my deep sympathy to you, Michelle, and to the extended family. Knowing that Brad lived the truth of the gospel as spoken in Duet 10:12 offers much for you to carry into the coming days. I am praying for grace to surround you for the service tomorrow.

peace for the journey,

Rick and I were saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man. Brad always seemed to have the uncanny ability to have the perfect sermon when something was heavy on my heart. He did so much for our family...baptisms, our marriage, and the kind words at the funeral of my parents. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. God Bless.

Bradford Davis was one of the most respected men I knew out of the 911th AW when I was in. He was the most caring, most empathetic and most compassionate man I knew who truly did care for others more then he cared for himself.

I still can't believe this has happened but he is home safe now in peace. You were very important to me sir, Ch. Brad. I will miss you greatly and I will never forget you. RIP sir.

I first met Brad 25 years ago at my Grandfather's funeral. Several years later I began serving as pianist at Hewitt Church under Brad's leadership. His devotion to God has always been an inspiration to me. I will always miss our Thursday evening men's choir rehearsals under the direction of the late Helen Long, which were always more fellowship than rehearsal. When I had the pleasure of seeing Brad several months ago and asked how he was doing, his quick response was "Better than ever!" I know he responded that way because he was anticipating his future in Glory. Brad, I applaud your life of service to Christ and to our country. I look forward to the day I can salute you personally in Heaven. My prayers go out to all your family and friends.

We, along with Cameron, Ashley and Natalie, extend our deepest sympathy. We are so glad we got to see him again recently. His kindness and graciousness toward my family at the time of my Mother's death in June was very meaningful, and we were very grateful for his quiet presence. Judy, Michael, Kathy and Michelle; you are all in our thoughts. May Brad find peace in his eternal rest.

Brad was my minister at Hewitt Presbyterian Church. I remember the day I met him. He had a smile that could fill a room. He always encouraged me to pursue my love of music. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with all of the kids at church.
After I grew up and moved away, Brad was willing to travel for me to perform my wedding ceremony. He baptized all 3 of my children. He also lived down the street from me when I was growing up. He was a friendly neighbor. Even though I haven't seen him in a long while, the word of his passing hurts and saddens me. However, his words and teachings of our Lord will forever remain in my heart. You have my deepest sympathies.

November 14, 2017

My sons and I extend our deepest sympathies to Brad's family. We are so thankful that we got to spend time with him in June as he very kindly officiated at my mother's funeral. It's so hard to believe that he is gone. May he Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,

Brad touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways. We will always remember the great times we shared and his kind words and contagious smile! His loss is a great one for our family and for all who knew him. But I take comfort in knowing Brad is reunited with his Dad and is at peace. Sending prayers for strength and healing to the family.

No matter who you were or maybe there was a four legged scruffy dog or homeless cat in the mix, Brad offered all that he encountered respect, wisdom, and attentive kindness. Much too soon to lose so much. Fly high Scout and Air Force Man.

We are shocked and saddened to hear this news. Brad was a friend, a pastor and family. One of his first duties at Hewitt Church was to preside over our father's funeral, and then this June he graciously did the same for our mother. Michelle, Judy and family, we are very sorry for your loss.

I have many fond memories of Brad, he was a very carrying minister to Hewitt Church. When I lost my sister he traveled two hours to support my family. He also married both of my children, and baptized my grandchildren. He was always a phone call away to all who needed him. He will be missed by all whom knew, and loved him.May his family take great comfort in each other, and know that Brad is with God know. Rest In Peace Brad

Deepest sympathy from the Mattie Morgan family of Rices Landing who appreciated Brads Air Force Service and pastoral service to our community. We are sure our dad will be standing at attention with a sharp salute as Brad came thru the pearly gates.

As a member of the 911th Airlift Wing, I will always remember Chaplain Davis and his kind words. He truly represented the God-Fearing man I aspire to be in faithful service to our savior. He always had time to talk and provided what I like to call the "Life-Lesson" in a situation. He represented integrity, kindness, selflessness and so much more. I will miss his smile, his wit and the way he made others priority over himself. To you, his beloved family, thank you for allowing him to share years of his life at the 911th Airlift Wing. Without your selflessness, I would not have had the chance to meet a man serving God with a heart of David. God bless you in your time of sorrow and although this marks the end of his earthly journey, it marks the beginning of many memories that will surface in making us all smile in reflection of a life well lived for Christ.

I spent many days talking to Brad at the 911AW where he was a Chaplain. Over the years, we became friends. I always saw him at the VA as our appointments were at the same time. He will be missed greatly. He has touched my life as I have touched his. My deepest sympathy to his family. He is in heaven now... overlooking all of us. One day we shall meet again...

I am stunned by Brad's death. We spent many hours together at Rohanna's Golf Course in Waynesburg, PA when he served the Hewitt Church. Before he went to Afghanistan, we enjoyed an overnight golf excursion to Canaan Valley, WV. Brad was fun on the course because he never took himself too seriously; tbt, he was much better than me. We swapped emails while he was stationed at Bagram and sent pix. From our fellow golfers at Rohanna's, I was privileged to collect and send funds to Ft. Bragg, NC for bandanas with Psalm 91 printed on them. He brought me back from Afghanistan a black golf shirt from Bagram AFB that has a service ribbon embroidered on it. When he returned, I could see and hear how the experience "wounded" him. I hadn't seen him since he left Hewitt Church. But I did make FB friends with his wife, Michelle. To you, and to all who loved Brad Davis, I extend my sympathies and gratitude to God for a fine friend, a loyal colleague in ministry, and a life well lived. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." "Blessed are they who die in the Lord from now on. 'Yes,' says the Spirit, 'they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.'"
