When I first moved to Charlotte in 2004, I knew of Bill through the media. I never thought that I would need his services to guide me through the most difficult period of my life. He was tough but had a heart of gold. The professional relationship expanded to friendship. We both went to UVA Graduate schools. I visited him at Sharon Towers many times and would always bring him UVA swag to brighten his day. He is gone but not forgotten.

We grew up with the Diehl family at Olde Providence swim and racquet club. Many fond memories we shared at swim meets. And then years later sitting near one another's families at Panther games. May your family be blessed as you spend time together remember the wonderful memories you all made together.

I really liked Bill -
Law is adversarial, but Bill had a way of making it easier - His dry sense of humor and really quick whit made some uncomfortable moments easier - He gave me grief about being a Campbell Law grad, but in a complimentary way -
I liked Bill and am sorry for his passing -

He lived long enough for me to tell him how indebted I am for his representation.
