Mr William R. Diggs

Bill was like a brother to me. We met and worked closely as Trustees at Oakland Baptist Church. Bill was also very supportive during my cancer journey. I will never forget his brotherly love, fun times and laughter.

Rest in Peace my fellow Grandparent and Friend. We shared many years of joy; you were always there for your granddaughters -- hospital stays, recitals, games, graduations, birthdays, and any opportunity you had to show them how much you loved them. I will particularly remember your first Nats game and the joy that outing brought you! I will honor your memory by following your example and doting upon them as you did. I'll miss our candid talks about the girls and sales, your smile and your strength. I salute you Bill Diggs -- you were truly a soldier. I pray God strengthens and comforts your family; God bless you!
