Bill and I met when his parents owned Beechmoor. We played together as teenagers during my summers on Whitefish. He was a true gentleman. He wrote to me while I was in Vietnam and I am a better person because he was in my life. I was stunned to see he has passed. My prayers will be for he and your family. Cheryl-big hugs. Jim O'Brien

Bill and I worked in sales together and bonded over the fact that I was from Hayward. He was such a wonderful man who always had a smile and a kind word to share!! He loved his family and his faith! May Shelia and his family find comfort in knowing he will always be within you!

I am so sorry to hear this news. I will always remember when Bill stopped by my parents house when I was about 5 or 6 years old. At that time, I didn't know any other kinds of ice cream even existed other than chocolate and vanilla - I was so surprised to see that he had brought mint-chocolate chip! I remember Bill and my parents laughing and chatting while I ate the ice cream. It's my favorite flavor to this day. I'm so sorry for your loss and will be sending prayers your way.
