To the Dumesnil family,
My heartfelt sympathies to you all. I met Bill through his work with our rugby teams and in a very short time, I found a new friend.
He was a truly gracious man with a huge heart and I will miss our lunches together.
Please know that he was truly proud of all of you and there was never a time when he wasn't sharing your accomplishments with others.

Dear Stas, Danny, Andrew, and Mrs D (my other Mom),
My deepest sympathies to you all. It was very warm to see such a large contingent of folks from QHS, St Pat's, and Quebec City in general at Billy s memorial service this week.
What memories we shared. What a wonderful man Billy turned out to be.
I only saw Bill once in the 40 years or so that separate high school from today, it took us about 45 seconds to pick up where we left off and feel comfortable. In our school days, we lived in each others shorts. We were the poor boys, but we didn t know it at the time. Mrs D, thank you for remembering me, you are as beautiful as I have always remembered. I apologize in retro for all the mooching I did at your home all those years ago.
To Stas, I sincerely believe that the wonderful memories you must have stacked away in your personal hard disc will help you through this time of mourning.
Sincerely,
Bob

Andrew, Danny, Aunt . M. It is difficult to be so far away from family at a time like this. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and sending you my most heartfelt sympathies and sincerest condolences.
I have too many memories of Uncle Bill to name and whenever I feel like crying I flip back to one of them and it makes me smile. Christmas evenings at the Sutton house or him convincing me to go down the huge slide in the park across from the Montreal house.
Take courage in the fact that you are surrounded by those who love you and let them help you through. I can tell you that people on at least two continents are thinking of you now and sending out their love and strength.
If there is ever anything you need please do not think twice about picking up the phone - we're always here for you on the other end.

Aunt Marianne, Cousin Andrew and Cousin Danny,
My thoughts are with you and with Uncle Bill. I'm so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bill was a wonderful man and I will always remember his masterful skills of being able to flip pancakes that would almost touch the ceiling during holidays at Babi's in the country. You have my prayers and sympathies. Danny and Andrew, you are lucky men to be able to call him your father, and the same for you Aunt Marianne, to be able to call him your husband.
Lots of love,
Michael Gorn

Hi Marianne, Andrew, Danny and Theresa,
I was so sorry and shocked to hear about Bill.
What can I say about such a great guy!
I have so many good memories of the times that I saw him in Sutton and Montreal. Whether it was eating lobster and sushi, smoking a cigar, or just sitting back on a nice evening in the country.
He was always a good person with whom to share a laugh and you could not help but walk away with a smile.
I will miss him alot.
Hope to see you all soon.
