In memory of
Beth Davey
February 25, 2004
Uncle Bill is my mom's brother. One of the things I thought was really great about him was that no matter how infrequently we (my brother, sister and I) got to visit with him as our lives got busier, he always knew what was going on in our lives, showed an interest, asked us about it, and genuinely cared. I liked his deep loud voice and full laugh. I liked how he always had a story. I am touched at all of the wonderful sentiments people have said about him.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Bill Duncan. I have had the pleasure of umpiring with Bill and he was a real good guy. He will be missed in the upcoming seasons of umpiring as well as by all his friends and family. Due to the weather, I was unable to get to the funeral home to express my sympathy in person. God Bless!

Your enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge of sports teams from Pitcairn, South Jr.High and Gateway High is legendary. You have touched the lives of many people and we are better off for having known Bill Duncan. May your family take condolence in knowing the positive effect you had on so many lives.

My sympathy is extended to the Duncan family. I haven't seen Bill in over 50 years but we were good friends in our youth. We played baseball and basketball just about every day. We lived across the street from each other.

I know you weren't really into the "new" technology of computers but I thought I would drop a line and let you know how much we miss you already. Mom and I are doing fine and I know you are up there looking over us.
