GREENSBORO — Mr. William Charles Durham, 76, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, at Alamance Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Durham was born on September 20, 1935 in Guilford County. He retired as President of C & T Trucking Company and was a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church. William enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Pauline Hackett Durham.
Survivors include wife, Barbara Walker Durham; son, William Todd Durham (Beth); daughter, Sherry Andrews (Max), all of Greensboro; sister, Debbie Durham Taylor (Charlie); brother-in-law, Jack Ledford of Castle Hayne; grandchildren, Ashlee Durham, Todd Durham, Jr., Matt Andrews, Ben Andrews, and step-grandchild, Shane Hughes.
The family will receive friends following the service with a reception in the Gathering Room.
