William Eldredge Obituary
Born in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1935, William (Bill), a life-long resident of Chatham, was the proud owner of Eldredge Garage and Taxi. Bill graduated from Chatham High School in 1953, served in the United States Air Force, and was honored to be a Mason.
Bill was the husband of the late Virginia (Ginny) Eldredge and the brother of the late Kendrick N. Eldredge. He leaves behind two sons, Lester W. Eldredge and David P. Eldredge, two daughters, Sharon R. Kaplowitz and Susan D. Eldredge, and three grandchildren, Aaron, Eric and Gregory Kaplowitz.
There will be no services, however, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. For online condolences, please visit www.nickersonfunerals.com.

It is with heavy heart that I know I will not again round the corner (with 'vicious' dog) to encounter that broad smile of such a gentle man. My neighbor of 33 years, you will be missed, Bill. Lester, to you, David and your sisters, my sincerest sympathy.

I enjoyed his help and friendly personality when he would help my dad get our whole family to Chatham after long trips from overseas, too much luggage and strollers and people. Our family will miss him and so will Chatham. I'm sorry for Bill's family and thinking of you.
