William Harold EPPS

Passed away on October 2, 2016 at the age of 98. Born on December 22,1917 in Stone County, Missouri. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Ethel Maples Epps, his daughter, Barbara Epps Henry, and grandsons, Bradley William Anton and Ronald William Henry, his parents, Joseph and Goldie Holt Epps and siblings, James Riley Epps, Hector Epps, Edna Powers, Betty Hall and Richard Epps. Bill and Ethel married on June 6, 1937 in Stone County, Missouri and moved to California on that same day, where they continued to reside until their passing. Bill was very active in the rearing of his four children and is survived by children; Mary Epps Graham of El Dorado Hills, Harold Dean Epps of Sacramento and Linda Epps Koepke of Fair Oaks. Bill is survived by grandchildren; Rick Henry, Randy Henry, Morgane Henry, Tami D'Agostino, Larry Koepke, William Koepke, Rachael Epps and Thomas Epps. Survived by great-grand-children; Dennis Bierwirth, Andrew Entrican, Megan Henry Quinlan, Taylor Henry, Brady Henry, Zachary Henry, Christi D'Agostino, Jenna D'Agostino, Katie Koepke, Jordan Koepke and Karly Koepke. Also, survived by great-great-grand-children; Dominic Bierwirth,Tony Bierwirth and Layla Bierwirth. Bill was the first of 10 children born to Joseph Wesley Epps and Goldie Inez Holt Epps. He is survived by siblings; Mary Hall, Nell Eddy, Manuel Epps and Don Epps. Bill was a good, kind and loving man and will be missed by all. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:00 at the Sunset Lawn, Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA.
