Our deepest sympathy to the family, and especially Milly (Bill was the best "driver" an author could wish for!).

Dear Uncle Bill - Sharing love, family, warmth and joy; memories of carefree times; happy children; beautiful grandchildren; loyal friends. Kind lessons in living, all. And, isn't that what godfathers are for?

You can tell a good tree from it's fruit. Look at the fruits of Bill's tree - the gentleness, the intelligence, and the sense of humour of each of his children. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. We will miss you, Uncle Bill.

My sincerest condelences to the Flaherty family on the loss of Mr. Flaherty. As a friend of Steve's since high school, I will always remember the kindness of the Flaherty family whenever I visited their home. Both of Steve's parents are patient and kind, and these qualities were instilled in all of their children. It is the most enduring tribute one could ever have. My heartfelt sympathies to you all.
