William FONTAINE Obituary
June 20, 1936 - June 14, 2013
Born Fort William Ontario. He loved and was loved by his wife and best friend, Diane. He loved and will be sadly missed by his children, Therese (Blair) Morrison, Kathleen (Ken) Collins, Michael (Deb), David (A.J.), Nicole (Terry) Bundun and Andre (friend Bonnie); 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and extended family. He also leaves behind his siblings and their families in the east. He was a special dad and poppa to his stepson, Ted Grosul (Stacey Bodnarek) and their three children.
Thank you to the ALS society and group ,as well as the doctors and staff at the Misercordia hospital. Donations gratefully accepted to the ALS Society.

Bill was one of a kind; warm, gentle, generous, but what I miss most is his laugh. I always enjoyed chatting with him, usually on one of our driveways and the minutes would quickly fly by as we would chuckle about things on the lighter side of life. He was always positive and even in his last email to me said "yes I'm still alive but getting weaker all the time and I feel it. Still look forward to tomorrow."
Bill was truly a treasure, set the bar high for the rest of us, and will truly be missed.

Dad
You will always have a special place in my heart. You were there for the good times and the bad. You are now free and I know I will feel your foot kicking my butt every now and then, especially if I do something really stupid. You will always be a part of my heart and my hero. I know we will see each other again in a better place. Fly on the wings of an eagle Dad, and soar thru the rainbows, or swim thru the water's deep and catch a ride with a whale. ROP Pop, and know you are loved and will never be forgotten. Love ya.

Dear Diane, Baba. Rose, Ted, Stacey, Trent, Kienna and Kaige;
Our hearts are hurting for you all. Chris and I are thankful we were able to get to know such a terrific man. He was one of the most accepting, kind and generous man I knew and we both feel very fortunate to have gotten to know him the way we did. Take care of each other and cherish all your favorite memories. May his memory be eternal.
You are all in our thoughts and we love you all......see you all soon.
