Dear Ethel,
Bill was one of the most gracious and friendly men I have known. During the 10 years we worked together at Dorr-Oliver, I was attracted to his genuineness, his humanity and his intellect. I know you and your family are rightfully proud of your Bill.

Dear Pat, I was so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. From what Bobby told me, your Dad was a very special man and you and he had the kind of warm, loving relationship that all children wish they had with their fathers. How lucky you are to have so many years of wonderful memories. My deepest sympathy of course to you mother, God bless her, your brother and his children and all your family members. May angels ease this difficult time.
Love, Marcianne

Sincere condolences to Pat and her family. Although I've never met them I feel as though I know them to be very special through your conversations of the last 30 years. In my observations, conversations about your Dad, however, seemed to have risen above “special” and have earned the greatest warmth and respect. It is to these memories I congratulate you and extend heartfelt sympathy in their conclusions. Nothing is worse than losing a dad if you are a Daddy's Girl. And again from all conversations gleaned, you were Daddy's “girl.” It takes one to know one!
Love,
Mary Miller
Bobby's sister
