Sherwood- I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was always giving me great advise. He had a great sense of humor and was always making me laugh and leaving me with a smile. He looked so handsome at the Commodores Ball....he will be missed.
Sincerely,
March 29, 2010

Dear Freeman family,
I fondly remember Bill from my very first days at MSA. He was a kind, fun loving person. A few times while we attended the American Idustrial Hygiene Shows, we got together for dinner and had a very good time. Later in my career at MSA, I got to meet Ann, another delightful Freeman aka Herman. Just know that Bill is in a better place without pain or suffering. Our saddness is here because of his loss, but he is looking down and smiling on his accomplishments and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with the Freeman family at this time of grief.

Sherwood and family:
We were so saddened and at a loss for words when we heard about Bill. We go back so far, to our days at Thiel, 50 years ago. We were neighbors on Princeton Blvd., and our kids grew up together. Bill had such a sense of humor. He was also a great handyman and helped us with so many projects and home repairs, from building bookcases and installing paneling and baseboards to laying brick patios and walkways.
We'll remember the good times, and there were a lot of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

SHERWOOD & FAMILY :
I WAS GREATLY SADDENED WHEN I HEARD ABOUT BILL"S PASSING. WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR THE LAST THIRTY YEARS.
WRITING A FEW WORDS ABOUT YOUR THOUGHTS AND MEMORIES OF A DEPARTED FRIEND IS NEVER SIMPLE;NOR CAN YOU FIND ALL THE WORDS YOU NEED TO EXPRESS YOUR TRUE EMOTIONS.
CAN YOU THINK CLEARLY ABOUT ALL THE YEARS OF A PERSON'S LIFE,AND SUM IT UP WITH A FEW WORDS?
AS WITH ANY TRUE FRIEND,YOU SUGGEST,YOU PRAISE,YOU EVEN CRITICIZE,AND ARGUE,BUT THERE EXISTS A BOND OF UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT.
BILL WAS A WONDERFUL,CARING PERSON;MAKING MANY PEOPLE SMILE.HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY,BUT THE MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS REMAIN.
BILL,WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND WILL NOT BE ENGRAVED IN A STONE MONUMENT,BUT WHAT WILL BE WOVEN INTO THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
I AM GOING TO MISS YOU !
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND .
