Mr. William Bruce Godson

GODSON, WILLIAM BRUCE 1960 - 2019
Passed away peacefully, in his 59th year, after a determined fight with cancer. Husband to Libby (Falconer) of 21 years and devoted father to Alexandra. He is survived by his brother Barry and sister Barb. Brother-in-law to Bill Falconer and uncle to Josee and Jennifer and families.
Bill's passion project after his cancer diagnosis was to make others aware that prostate PSA testing is not necessarily an accurate indicator of prostate health. He also wanted others to know that recent studies have found that a percentage of men with baldness (not merely an age related receding hair line) are at greater risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer. In sharing this information, it was Bill's desire to help reduce the risk for others.
A private funeral will be held for Bill, with details to follow.
