WILLIAM HARGROVE Obituary
33, of Pittsburgh, died July 8, 2010. Son of Walter Boyd and Pamela Hargrove, he is also survived his wife: Samantha Thomas; children: William, Jr., Desmond, Jocelyn and Nathan; Brothers: Walter Boyd and Stephan Boyd; Sisters: JoAnn Hargrove and Clarice Burse as well as many other relatives and friends. William was a much loved teacher's aid within the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE. Services 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Valley View Presbyterian Church in Garfield. Burial will follow in the Homewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested for the benefit of the children's education; care of the funeral home. www.whitememorial.com

I will continue to pray for your family through these trying times. Up until today I shed tears of sadness. But now I shed tears of joy. Because today he looked so at peace. So my good memories of Will from coming to my house to buy I C Cups down Omega to the many flag football games when he played for my dad to the halls of Peabody High School will live on. I just recently remember Will telling me that when somebody SMILES at me to SMILE back..It doesn't hurt to SMILE. I laughed and told him it do. Isn't funny how God will bring someone into your life for a reason. I never formally met you but we met while in Costume and we all had the best time!! You were The Joker and I was Zorro! i have known Will since the ninth grade. I cannot explain in enough words how much his death has affected me. Samantha you have been on my mind every day since i have heard about Will's death. I wish I could take your pain away. I do know what you are going through but i do know that there are many who care about you and your family.
