William Edward Haught

William Edward Haught, 82, of Fairmont, died Saturday evening (Aug. 30, 2008) at Fairmont General Hospital.He was born on Aug. 21, 1926, in Farmington, a son of the late William and Virginia Conard Haught. He retired from the City of Fairmont Street Department. He was a Methodist by faith. He enjoyed wood working. He is survived by his wife, Helen Stuckey Haught of Fairmont; and two daughters and one son-in-law, Beverly Butler of Grant Town, and Brenda and Stephen Davisson of Clarksburg; and one son, Frank Hawkinberry of Michigan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Chris and Jenniffer Davisson, Randy and Holly Allenby, Bobbie Butler, Melissa Bocey, and Robert Hawkinberry. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jennings and Nellie Haught of Monongah; and one aunt, Loretta Norman of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Robert Hawkinberry; and one sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Donald Huff. Friends may call at the Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, on Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
