William Gavin Hegg

I worked for Mr. Hegg as an assistant at Sacramento Savings. He was extremely gracious and respectful toward me and always quick to go out of his way and share a joke about golf that would make me smile. At that time I had no clue about golf, but now that I'm attempting to play, those jokes are even funnier now. Mr. Hegg will be missed.

Mr. Hegg was, so far as I can tell, the son of my Grandmother Grace's (Gavin Koch) sister, Ann, perhaps. Nice obit and wonderful to have found.

I worked for and with Mr. Hegg and admired him and his ability to listen. I too was a recipient of one of his pranks. He will be missed by all.

I, too, had the privilege of working for this great man for 23 years. For those of us who worked together at Sacramento Savings we were a family. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to this dear man. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to be affiliated with someone who contributed so significantly to our community.

I was an employee of Sacramento Savings for 12 years. I had so much respect for Mr. Hegg as a leader and I was honored to be a part of his team. My condolences to his family. We have lost a great man!

I worked for sac savings and got to know Mr. Hegg and I had the greatest respect for him. As I have worked for other financial institutions since I have had an even greater respect for him. I was and always will be thankful for what he did for me and for all the employees that worked for him; great man.
