Bill was such a Christiam example to all of us. His treasure box was so great a way to have children encouraged in learning their Bible verses. The way he always brought a Easter sunrise service together was super. Bill was always so encouraging to me.

I wanted to share a memory of Mr. Hemsley. When I was I a little girl Mr. And Mrs. Hemsley would pick us up for church on Sunday's. I am forever grateful for him and his wife. Without them my sister and I would not have gotten to go to church! He was a great man. We would have breakfast at their house occasionally after service and I remember the chocolate chip waffles and playing hungry hungry hippos!! He rests with the Lord now

Dear Betty and family, While we have not been in Ohio for many years, we have so many wonderful memories of Bill. I loved singing in the choir with him and his teasing. The pot-lucks, Bible school, He loved kids! He loved my kids! I remember running into him at K-Mart and Scott was with me. He cried to find out Scott was a follower of Christ. He was a tremendous help in guiding all our kids to know Jesus Christ and the Word! Tracy and I were just talking about The treasure box and sword drills. Please know Bill's light will burn forever and many children were touched by that light. Our sincere prayers for you and your family.

While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, God sees everything, he hears the groans of the oppressed and revives the hearts of the crushed, Isaiah 57:15. May God sustain you at this time of such great loss.

We will miss the way that Bill greeted us at Journey Covenant Church. Bill always displayed a great attitude, wit and Christian knowledge. He showed that he loved to win the many games that he came up with to play (such as Uno). We will truly miss and always remember Bill. Our sincere condolences to Betty and Family.

We will miss the way Bill always greeted us while entering church. His wit, knowledge, humor and desire to win the many games that he loved to play. He will be missed greatly but always remembered fondly. We give our condolences to Betty and Family.

I'm so sad to hear of Bill's passing. I had the privilege of working with him at the Kmart in Stow. I can remember on his last day working, before we closed, he came to give me a big hug and to thank me for making sure his shifts were scheduled around his treatment when he was going through a medical issue. I still have the little blue angel pin he gave me that day. Rest in peace Bill, God Bless.

Bill, you will be so greatly missed. You have been such a great example in my life as a Christian mentor. I thank you also for all the years that you taught my Granddaughters. I know many of those values are still with them.
I will miss you but know you are in a much better place. Be sure to give one of those "bear hugs" to Larry and Cheri for me. Love you, Pat
