William Scott Hines, 27, of Florence, Ala., passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today, Monday, March 15, 2010, in Greenview Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Earl Hines.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Amanda Pendergrass; mother, Barbara Lisheness; father, John Hines; sons, Coby and Eli Hines; brothers, Danny and John Hines; sister, E.J. Hines; nieces, Alyssa Hines, Chloe Kelsey and Morgan Hines; and nephew Anthony Hines.

Arrangements by Greenview Funeral Home.

Scott came to dinner in Jr High at our house. He was very polite and well mannered. Our, son Daniel was a friend of his. Daniel is now in Afghanistan, but told us about what happened to Scott. Saying a prayer for your family.
