I grew up with Blaine; he lived a block away from me. He loved professional wrestling, especially Fritz von Erich and his Iron Claw. We played a lot of football together in a vacant lot near my house. Blaine had a big smile and a great laugh. He was part of my childhood and Ill never forget him. Peace and healing to his family and friends.

I was so sad to hear about Blaine. I came to know him through visiting my mother at The Heights, and he always made me smile. I will miss him greatly. I thank God for the joy he brought me and so many others.

Blaine's Dad and my uncle, Raymond Holloway, worked together in the oil field and were good friends. I remember playing with Blaine as a child. Later in life I lived a block away from Blaine and he used to walk by the house and would always stop and talk. He always wanted me to bring him some welding rods. He truly was a special soul.

I grew up a block away from Blaine. He lived across the street from Chris and Cap Ellis. He was one of neighborhood boys growing up. When I was at The Jay Shop, Blaine loved coming downtown. Lela would always bring him by the shop. He would always ask where I was going or where I had been. He wanted me to bring him back a phone book. I would always try to bring him one, even after Lela told me that there was no more room. I remember bringing him one back from Las Vegas and tearing out the inappropriate pages from the back. He had a sweet spirit. I always think about him when I drive by their old house. Prayers for Paula and the family.

Blaine was one of the sweetest boys you would ever want to meet. If he knew you you may as well get ready to stop and chat a few minutes. He was very smart. He knew I loved t watch football and he would remind me when the games were what team played and the coaches and players. If you told him who you were rooting for the next time he saw you he would tell you if your game won or not. A special man in a special place. so loving and kind.
