Daddy & Mama Thanksgiving 2012

Jean Martin

December 19, 2012

As we mourn the loss of Daddy, it is truly comforting to know he was a Christian man, strong in his faith and is now amongst the angels with our Lord and Savior. Daddy was one of the most powerful men I've ever known both spiritually and physically. Whenever Mama was asked what Daddy's profession was, she always responded "Home Builder". How true! Daddy built houses for his children and taught us how to build a home. Having been married to our mother for 57 years, Daddy provided us with a sense of stability and solidity. Because of Daddy, I learned a house is made of bricks and beams and a home is made of love and dreams. While there will be an empty chair at the Christmas holiday table this year, it will be filled with loving memories. Daddy, we will miss you always. With love and affection, Your first-born Jean
