William Huffaker Obituary
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Woodland Park Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Mineral Wells, the son of William and Ada Ethel Pittman Huffaker. He was a lifetime resident of Palo Pinto County and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Betty Myers on June 11, 1955, in Mineral Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Huffaker, of Possum Kingdom Lake; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Lisa Huffaker, of Mineral Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Terry Meeks, of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Nikki Meeks, Whitney Huffaker and Bryan Huffaker; sister, Bobbie Southerland, of Hurst, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters, Widdie, Lowell, Mary, Louise, Veda Mae and Fred.

To the Huffaker Family,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of Bill. My uncle Ivan Paxston introduced us to your family way back in 1979. My dad, Garry Klingensmith (who passed in 2001), sister Sue and I enjoyed spending time at the lake house with your family. Bill was so good to us, and we will always hold fond memories of him.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. The time I spent on with Bill on the lake learning to fish are some of my most cherished child hood memories. I will never forget Bill's kindness.
