WILLIAM "HARRY" JARDINE
AUGUST 19, 1927 – OCTOBER 25, 2012
Harry peacefully passed away with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, David and Ida; sisters, Dot, Mary, Annie, Agnes and Marjorie and brothers, John and David. Harry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian; daughters, Jeannette Jardine, Colleen (Ken) Gowan and Laura (Ted) Leurer; eight grandchildren, Amy (Aron) McInnes, Brianne (Brian) Focht, Sarah (Jason) Holzer, Kevin and Crystal Gowan, Candace (Brody), Kaitlyn and Ashley Leurer; six great grandchildren, Aiden and Addison McInnes, Brooke and Brandy Focht, Tanyon and Teague Holzer; one brother, Doug (June) Jardine, numerous nieces and nephews and good friend, Frank Sedlick. Harry was born on the family farm at Frankslake. He left home at an early age to work at a variety of different jobs, travelling across North America. Married Lillian and raised 3 daughters on the White City farm, as well as working on road construction, bush breaking and then 15 years as a shipper/ receiver at Dad's Cookies. But Harry was best known for his talents at welding and his ability to fix, build or invent any metal or mechanical device. He enjoyed cribbage, puzzles of any sort and road trips to visit friends and family. Many thanks to the staff at the Pasqua Palliative Care and to the Grace Hospice. Thanks to Pastor Jeremy Swem for all the visits, the scripture readings and the singing. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK with Rev. Jeremy Swem officiating. Interment will follow at Regina Memorial Gardens, HWY #1 East, Regina, SK. Friends so wishing may make donations in Harry's name to the Regina Palliative Care Inc. (RPCI) 4F – 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK, S4T 1A5, Grace Lutheran Memorial Fund, 1037 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK, S4P 0N6, or a Charity of one's choice.

Lil and Family, I was very sorry to learn of Harry's passing. He was quite a character, he could really put you through your paces and keep you on your toes! I always enjoyed the experiences I had with him, as well as with yourself and your family. Now Harry's at peace, with the reward that he's surely earned. Best wishes to you all.
