Today (Sept 29) is your birthday. I miss having a visit and a toast with wine and cheese! You were a good friend thru thick and thin!

Bill and Bill Clark and I spent a lot of time taking about work and the world. I always enjoyed his many stories about hunting and life. My favorite story was about the time he videoed a black bear while dressed in a black neoprene scuba suit. He brightened up the world with his laughter. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great friend to my dad, Bill Clark. I remember them spending many hours together, shooting the breeze and enjoying each other's company. Deep condolences to you all, from the Clarks.

It is not flesh and blood but the heart that made us father and son. I'm so grateful that you were part of my life and am proud to have called you stepdad. You will be greatly missed.....xo

Love you always,Dad xox

We used to write poems to our parents for birthdays. The poem in the obit, Sea Fever, was one Dad memorized as a young boy, and recited at Christmas.

Dad love to carve the turkey, and preferred eating off the carcass, as opposed to his plate!
