Dear Patty,
How sad we are to learn of Bill's passing. Although we have kind of lost touch with our move to FL, 17 years ago, you and your family were carried in our hearts. As we look at back at all the fun times we had in the" 60's" , it comes to mind how life takes us on different paths.
You and your family are in our Prayers and thoughts.

Mrs. Keegan- "Billy" was a young fireman working on Sisson Ave. when I knew him in the '60s. He was one of two "youngsters" who befriended my dad, Ed Sullivan, an old-timer at that time, already on the job for 25 years. My mom died suddenly in late '66 and my dad and I were left alone and devastated. To care for me my dad had to retire (I was 12 at the time). Your dear husband--together with Jimmy Andrew--visited us often and helped my dad, particularly, through what was a very hard time. I will never forget him and his kindness and hope Billy and Ed meet up again in Heaven to exchange war stories. God Bless you and your family. Maryalice Sullivan Kelley

Uncle Bill, I didnt get to tell you but Thank You. If it wasn't for your inspiration and pointing me in the right direction I wouldnt have gotten to where I am today. A Firefighter. After taking all the tests and not getting hired you told me not to give up and keep pushing forward. I never gave up and here I am in my 5th year in the fire service in Alpharetta Fire.
Thank you, I am forever greatful your nephew and Firefighter/EMT.
