Dear Kliefoth Family, We have relocated to Florida and would otherwise have attended Bills life celebration. Bill was a great friend of the Bausch family and my wife and I personally. I recall many times of sharing flying stories and comparing notes. Bill was influential and inspirational early on in my Naval and later civilian aviation career. We appreciate Bill and Veras participation in our family events especially attending our wedding. Bill was a real gentleman and more importantly a stalwart in his Christian Walk! We pray that you will have peace and comfort during this difficult time. With our Deepest Sympathy, Dave and Maureen Bausch

It is with very heavy hearts that we share our deepest sympathy with you. Bill and Vera were our neighbors for many years and we loved them both so very much. When Brandon was born, they both visited and shared their love and blessing with Joe and I. That was almost 26 years ago. When Vera passed we were heartbroken. When Bill was out and about, he always stopped to talk with us, as well as mom and dad. He and my dad saw eye to eye and they could spend hours talking about current world events. He was a gracious man and very proud. Joe would help him out by blowing snow or blowing leaves, and Bill always brought over either a box of candy or delicious pie. Bill loved to talk about his days of flying and so many places he visited. He loved his family immensely, and so enjoyed being able to take the grandchildren on a plane trip with him. We saw him leave for church services every week. He was a devoted member of his church. We will always remember celebrating his 80th (or 85th?) birthday at the Cock and Bull and were honored to be invited. I could go on and on, but want you to know we grieve with you. May God's love comfort you during this time. Joe and I are in Texas and will be flying home late Monday, and mom will be prepping for surgery. While we cannot be with you in person, please know we are with you in faith and prayer. In sympathy and forever friendship, Joe, Karen and Brandon Kearns and Alice and Ed Mizerek.

Mr Kliefoth was a father figure to our family. Always kind and an encouraging word regarding your activities and profession. We loved hearing the stories from his generation. He engaged us with tale and tale of amazing exploits, told in his easy going manner like it was a walk in the park. Most of all, he represented a man in this world, but not of this world. He was a person on his way to heaven, but set here on earth to show others the way. He will be missed but we look forward to a glorious reunion.
