My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am a friend of Deborah's and will thinking of all of you during this time.

In 1957 or so, I had a severe eye injury, requiring surgery on both eyes. For more than ten years, I was a patient. Dr. Knauer, through his special gift, returned to me the gift of sight.

Dr. Knauer gave me my first position in the medical field. Before that, I was an office person with no interest in other than being a medical secretary. I will always remember him for what he did for me. My prayers are with his wife and family.

I will miss you Jr. Thanks for giving me a job in 1975. You were a great boss!!!
