KOWALCHUK, William (Bill)
Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Royal Oak Long Term Care in Kingsville at the age of 93. Loving husband to Thelma Kowalchuk for 67 years. Dear father to Dennis Kowalchuk and wife Mary, St. Catherines, Ruth Gallant and husband Ron, Belle River, Lori David and husband Kevin, Ruthven and the late Bruce Kowalchuk formerly of Kingsville. Dear grandfather to Vanessa (Dave), Kyle, Ian (Meaghan), Derek (Tara.) Dear great-grandfather to Nathan, Natalie, Colin and Jase. Son of the late Metro and Tytiana Kowalchuk and predeceased by sister, Betty Differ, all of Emerson, Manitoba. William was a WWII veteran of the Royal CDN Naval Reserve and a retiree from General Motors Transmission plant in Windsor, where he worked for 32 years. Dad loved his workshop-wood crafting, mechanics and if it was broken he could fix it. For outstanding care shown to our father and husband, the family would like to thank the staff at Royal Oak Long Term Care in Kingsville; thanks to Dr. Kelton, Dr. Moncur and staff at Leamington District Mem. Hospital and thank-you also to Amy and her staff at Amy's Helping Hands. Friends will be received at the
