I remember reading his MAD magazines when we came for Thanksgiving. I wasn't allowed at my house, so it was a real treat. Billy was fun and was so nice to me. We lost touch many years ago but I've never forgotten his kindness to my girls and myself.

He was a fantastic professor and even a better person. He inspired me to continue the path of psychology and eventually social work. We always talked about sports and how much of a die hard Knicks and Raiders fan he was. He continued to inspire me to this day and he will be missed.

Bill was an amazing man. He was wonderful with our daughter, far beyond just tutoring her, he took the time to know her as a person. He talked her through stress and even tried to help her find relief from migraine headaches. He is remembered fondly and missed so much.

Bill was my neuropsychology professor at Adelphi. I am a neuroscientist now and I think that is partially due to the zeal that he brought to the subject. He was one of the most knowledgeable and sharpest teachers I ever had. I am sorry that he passes and my condolences go out to his family.

You have our heartfelt sympathy. Bill was a wonderful man and an amazing teacher. He had been our daughter Lizzie´s ACT tutor over the last three months. In that time, she became very fond of him and she is disheartened to have lost him in her life. Bill made Lizzie feel heard. He helped her to believe in herself. We appreciated all he gave as a teacher, mentor, and friend. He will be missed by us all.

My condolences to the family of Krause. He was very kind, and humble and we talked a lot of about topics off school such as sports, history and interest. I believe he connected with us students in many different ways. Learned a lot from him and he left a imprint and legacy in our lives even if it´s small or large. Even through challenging times he was always there even to listen, and this is my senior year where Support was needed. My prayers go to his family..

My heart is with all of Professor Krause's loved ones during this difficult time. I took a class with him in Spring 2020 and will never forget his kindness and humor during the very confusing start of the pandemic. I lost a very close loved one to COVID-19 during that semester and he was so supportive and understanding, and I will never forget that. He also took the time to support students individually; I met with him on Zoom this February and we had an amazing chat about my future in grad school and he wrote a recommendation letter that I will forever be grateful for. A kind soul gone too soon, may he rest in peace.

My condolences and prayers to professor Krause´s family. I am truly heartbroken by the news. Professor Krause was so amazing. He always kept the class engaged and always broke things down for us for better understanding. I always looked forward to his "dad jokes" in the middle of class. Always made my day! What also touched me about professor Krause was that he was so understanding about me juggling class being pregnant/ having a baby. He will be missed by all of us and class will not be the same without him. RIP professor Krause

Bill lived across the street from me when I lived at home with my parents until 2005. He was always very kind and we would often speak about how "good" the Mets were doing. In fact I went to a 2006 Mets playoff game with him and we both had a great time.
I also remember him checking in on me on September 11th when my parents were in Europe and our country was attacked. He wanted to make sure I was okay and we had dinner that night together.
A very kind and caring man.
May he rest in peace.

This was my first semester having Dr. Krause and he was an amazing teacher. I only had him for a short amount of time but he definitely had a huge impact on me. A few weeks ago I planned to write him a letter to give to him on the last day of class to thank him for everything he had done for me. I never finished the letter and sadly he will never receive it. Dr. Krause thank you for staying after class every day and helping me understand the material better, thank you for making this the one class I was excited to go because you upbeat joking nature, and thank you for caring for your students because each and everyone of us care about you. My condolences to his family, you are in my prayers.

Dr Krause has been one of the greatest professors I had throughout my college career. He was a very understanding person. He often talked about how life is short and that each class is supposed to be fun. Just a few days ago I had seen him walking into a building to teach. I was stuck in some traffic so I just missed him to say hi. My condolences to his family. He was truly an amazing person as well as a professor.

Dr. Krause´s classes were my absolute favorite. He made it easy and fun and he was always there to help and support. He made people in his surrounding feel seen. Him and I loved to talk about ice hockey and he would always check the score on my games. He was so supportive and he said the day I made the Olympics for Sweden he would come watch. My condolences go out to Dr Krause's family. He was an amazing soul and will be remembered as such.

My deepest condolences for the lost of such a kind man. Dr. Krause was my professor last semester and he was amazing. I went through a tramatic lost leaving me behind in my classes but he was always so helpful and kind to me. We would meet once a week, he was so patient with me and my nonstatistical brain. Meeting with him was not a chore, I genuinely looked forward to our conversations about stats and random things. He was truly an amazing man and professor with an unbeatable humor. He truly left a positive mark on so many people including myself. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers. My family is sending tons of love to yours.

I first met Bill several years ago, when he began to teach at LIU Post. He took on courses like statistics, advanced statistics, and research methods. These are not necessarily courses that undergraduate psychology students look forward to taking. Yet Bill made these topics comfortable for the students. Students were lucky to have Bill as a professor - and I was lucky to have him as a colleague.

Although I only had the pleasure of taking one course with Dr. Krause, I found him to be one of my favorite professors here at LIU Post. He was caring, funny, smart, and kind to all of his students. His class was always the highlight of my day, especially when he would show his adorable cat on the zoom calls (during online classes). I hope that his family finds peace in that he was and will forever be a memory in so many emerging adult's minds, and he will never be forgotten as one of our favorite professors. Rest in peace Dr. Krause, you will be missed dearly.
