William Lovelady Jr Obituary
A native of the Detroit area, he graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School in 1987. Bill enjoyed football, golfing, fishing, as well as bowling. He was a die hard Detroit Lions fan and his family is convinced his blood was the color of maize and blue.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of ten years, Robyn; their three children, Jesse, Haylee, and Allyson; and his mother, Brenda. He also leaves behind his siblings Tina, Jeff (Beth), Tracy, and Heather (Chris); as well as nieces and nephews Jeremy, Michael (Kelly), Rose (Nate), Robert (Caitlynn), Warren (Shannon), Caleb, Chloe (Kevin), Paul Jr., Eric (Calista), Cody, and Emily. Bill was also blessed with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Bill Sr. and Brenda Lovelady.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Evangelical Friends Church, 7890 Tuttle Hill Road, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 4:00 p.m.
Those who knew Bill are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the joy he brought into so many lives. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
