William Mack

Dr. Mack was on my mind I use to work for him in the early 2000 he was the best Doctor that I had the privilege working for. He taught me alot about the medical field. I use to smile all the time because he use to sing my name (Jeanetta) referring to a opera song. I am truly sadden knowing he received his wings 7 yes ago. I remember going to get his lunch for his dr appointments. He was the best doctor I had the privilege to work for. He was an is truly loved.

Dr. Mack was in my thoughts so I looked to see if he was still practicing medicine, only to see he gained his wings. He was both of my son's pediatrician for 18 years. He was the only doctor I trusted to care for my babies. My deepest condolences to the family. He was a great man. God Bless

I will forever love Dr.Mac he was the primary care physician to my girls for the last 5 years and it will be hard to find anyone who is as loving, kind and funny as he was. It may be a lost down here but a blessing in heaven. My condolences to the entire Mac family.

Dr Mack was the best pediatric Dr around. He took time with my kids and was always so friendly and genuine . He has been apart of our family for 20 years. I'm so sad to learn of his passing. I don't think I will ever find a doctor to replace him.

I'm not sure he would remember me, but I have fond memories of Dr. Mack. He was my pediatrician when I lived with my parents and sister in Houston. I remember that while children are normally apprehensive about their doctors, I always loved him and was never afraid to go to one of his visits. I want you to know, that even though I am 50 and live in Colorado, I still remember him and although this is a sad time, I am smiling when I think of him. In Peace and fondest memories.

Wm H. Mack was a very good Pediatrician , he excepted my grandson Royal k.Coleman with opened arms when we first came to him. I just found out about his passing. he is going to be well missed. Thank for allowing him to take care of my grandson for thirteen years. Julia & Royal Coleman

I can remember going to doctor Mack at age 15 and he took very good care of me . He reminded me of Bill Cosby because he was so funny . Then i grew up and had a little girl and the first time he saw her she was 2 months old he held her up in the air and said look at this pretty baby with diamonds in her ears and took care of her all through childhood . Then my little girl grew up and had four little beautiful girls and he's been taking care of them all of there lives. Thank you Dr Mack for 3 generations of love and care We love you thank you to his Family for sharing him with the world .

Praise God for this wonderful doctor. As a child 8 years of age i had a skin rash called pityriasis rosea. At that time no one knew what to call this skin rash, but Dr. Mack worked fervently with other doctors, researched medical journals until he got results. I am 58 years old now and never seen that pityriasis rosea again. In 1976 Dr. Mack delivered my son he's now 39 yrs, in 1996 Dr. Mack began caring for my son's son, my grandson became his patient. I am saddened to hear of the news of Dr. Mack's passing. He was both my children's Peditrician since birth, they are now 24 and 18. He is a fine example of a doctor who provided excellent care to his patients and for those in the community! He cared what happened not to just his patients, but the parents as well! My daughter had two prior pediatricians by age three when I researched Mr. Mack's credentials. This was long before the Internet existed, so I basically had to consult the Yellow Pages and call a lengthy list of other specialists to determine what insurance was accepted and to get a feel for what was each doctor's treatment philosophy and bedside manner.

Dr. Mack was JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED!!! He immediately put my fears to rest and was vigilant and thorough, remaining her doctor through high school. My daughter didn't even want to leave her pediatrician when she began college!

Over the years, Dr. Mack referred us to critical specialists who were not only in the same insurance network but shared very similar approaches to medicine. I later learned Dr. Wooten, whom Dr. Mack referred us to for ophthalmology care, had encouraged him to come to Houston to practice. So, ultimately Dr. Wooten was our benefactor who brought Mr. Mack to us.

Mr. Mack also referred us to Dr. Radford for dentistry, Dr. Gossett for gastroenterology and Dr. Williams for urology concerns.

We usually had a lengthy wait to see him, but Dr. Mack always made it well worth our time. That is because he took a sincere interest in diagnosing how a patient presented himself/herself and not just what was said. We left many times with answers to questions we didn't know to ask about.

I enjoyed many a restful night after bringing my daughter to see him. We thank God for putting Dr. Mack in our lives. He is truly irreplaceable!!!

Dear Mack Family,

It seems that I have known the Mack Family all my life. His sister, Ernestine, and I have been friends since our early days at Lincoln Elementary School.We attended church together, movies, concerts, etc. So, I like his siblings am also sad that he is no longer with us. But, William is happily with his parents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Ernestine, Ulysses, Claudia, his children and nieces/nephews will truly miss him. But, each of you will find comfort in the love and memories you shared with him these many years.

While we mourn William's leaving us, we are very pleased that God blessed him to realize his dream and to be of service to those who needed his presence and care. He was also blessed to see his children become responsible adults.

I pray that each of you will follow God's guidance and accept the power of His strength and the power of His mercy as you travel the path God has planned for each you.

I regret not being physically with you but know that each of you are in my heart.

Dr. Mack was a Excellent Pediatrician. I had just saw him last month at Luby's and he still look the same just a little smaller. but he did remember me and my children and also my cousin. To the Mack Family you all have my Deepest Sympathy and Dr. Mack will be missed, DEARLY!!!

Dr. Mack you will be missed! You were my child pediatrician which is now 21 yrs. Your
Guidance and care served my child and may other children well. You were instrumental to their medical needs and their mental health. You were a father and leader to many children and parents. Dr. Mack was a one in a million Pediatrician. My two sons, now ages 41 and 37 were his children as he referred to all of his patients. He was so patient and took his time with each child, even though the waiting room would be full. God truly Blessed him in his work.
