William Bill Manasco

William A. "Bill" Manasco, 56, of Searcy, died Tuesday, November 22 at UAMS from complications of multiple myeloma. He was born in Searcy, December 23, 1954, the son of Robert and Velma Parvin Manasco. Bill was with the Arkansas State Police for 26 years, serving at McGhee, Dumas, Newport and Searcy. He retired in March of 2010 as Post Sergeant for Troop B. Bill is survived by his wife, Beth Manasco; sons, Trey Keller and his wife Shelly of North Little Rock, and Spc. George Cousins IV, with the US Army, Afghanistan; his grandson, who loved and adored him, Henry Keller; his father, Robert Manasco, of Beebe; brothers, Bob Manasco, of Denver, Colorado, Jackie Manasco, of Searcy; and a sister, Joyce Scarborough of Mt. View. He was preceded in death by his mother. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, at West Race Baptist Church, 1006 West Race Avenue, Searcy, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A reception will follow the service at the Church. Memorials may be made to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, 4301 W. Markham St., #716, Little Rock, AR 72205. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Myeloma Clinic at UAMS, and a special thanks to the employees of Infusion 4.
